FAQ & Care

Every detail of our jewellery is meticulously hand crafted. We use the ancient lost-wax process, to sculpt and then cast each piece.

Laura and her team of skilled assistants, create limited-edition collections, so that the work is always evolving.

Laura also works closely with clients to create bespoke one of a kind pieces.

We work in 925 sterling silver, 14K and 18K gold.

We believe in recycling and reducing the global demand for newly mined precious metals,

and offer jewellery made from recycled precious metals.

We source stones for that are mined and cut in accordance with the Kimberley Process

which abides to strict Labour, Trade and Enviromental practices.

 

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY

Jewellery should be treated carefully. To clean your jewellery, rinse it in a mild soap and water solution, using a soft toothbrush. To maintain a matte finish, gently brush the surface with a 3M "ScotchBrite" pad.

To clean your jewellery with stones, use a mild soap and water solution and gently clean the surface, then rinse and dry. If your piece has pearls, clean by wiping gently with a soft cloth. Store each piece separately, in a zip lock plastic bag, this will help prevent tarnish. Please note that our sterling silver pieces are nickel-free. 

Pearls and stones used in our jewellery are natural and genuine. Colours, shading and inclusions of stones and pearls do vary, and are part of their nature. We do our best to carefully choose and match stones and pearls for each piece of jewellery. 

Apply lotions and perfume before wearing your jewellery. These cosmetics might damage the surface of pearls and some stones, and may cause discolouration.

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION
All of our jewellery is carefully created by hand , if we have the piece you ordered in stock we will ship in 1 to 3 days , if we do not, we will ship approximately 3 to 4 weeks after the receipt of your order.

All orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or on a National holiday will be processed the next business day.For Canadian orders we ship with Canada Post Expresspost or Expedited, for US or International orders we ship with UPS.

All packages require a signature upon delivery. Additional charges may accrue if more than one attempt is made for delivery. Eles Designs does not ship to Post Office Boxes. Deliveries will occur Monday to Friday.

For all US shipments, there are no duties as per the North American Free Trade Agreement.
For other International orders, the recipient is responsible for all import duties and taxes that may be levied by local governments. These fees must be paid to release your order from Customs upon arrival.
We are unable to advise the amount of these charges, and suggest you contact your local postal service.

 

TAXES
All Canadian orders will be charged the applicable taxes, based on the Province in which you reside. US and International orders are tax exempt.

 

PACKAGING DETAILS
Either it’s for you or someone you love, we individually wrap each piece in our signature Eles Designs jewellery gift box. 

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We want you to be completely happy with your order. If you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept returns for an exchange ( with an item of the same value or more ) or for a store credit within 14 days of receipt.
Note that there are no refunds.
Note that there are no refunds on shipping costs.
Please note that Custom orders cannot be returned.
When returning an item please email us first at info@eles-designs.com for a return authorization form and ship-back information.
When returning an item you are responsible for shipping costs and insurance.

 

REPAIRS – WARRANTY
We take great pride in our work, and the quality of our materials and offer our One Year Warranty, we will make repairs on items for up to one year after receipt date, free of charge.
Proof of purchase must accompany items beings returned for repairs under warranty.
